We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you may be charged the full amount of your appointment.
Please keep in mind that if you are feeling ill the day before and question if you will be able to attend your session, please still contact your therapist as soon as possible. The therapist will then be able to prepare accordingly if you are not able to attend. DO NOT come to your session if you have not completely recuperated from any illness such as a cold, flu, stomach bug or other like conditions. Understandably, this is for your benefit as well as the therapist's. Contrary to common belief, you do not have to have a fever to be contagious or be in the recuperating stages.
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.”
Please contact the therapist as soon as possible. Consideration may be considered in determining if the client will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
If you are running late please notify your therapist by voice or text message as soon as possible. Please understand that if you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order for the therapist to remain on schedule. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you may be responsible for the “full” session. Your respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers is appreciated.
Your appointment is scheduled just for you. Generally only a total of a 10 minute pre/post buffer is considered for your visit. Some clients may require extra time to prepare prior or exiting the session room. Please advise your therapist when scheduling to discuss any extra time requirements you need. If the therapist is not aware of the additional time you may require then this may interfere with other client's scheduled appointments for the day. Thank you for your consideration.
We look forward to serving you!
